We own and operate the Duffield to Wirksworth railway line and have taken the railway from a state of complete abandonment to a friendly, vibrant line open most of the year.  Our trains connect with East Midlands Trains‘ Nottingham, Derby and Newark to Matlock services and you can even purchase a through ticket from your local station to Wirksworth!

We launched Ecclesbourne 150 to celebrate the life of this extraordinary railway but it is not just about trains.  Railways and communities have always been linked and the beautiful town of Wirksworth is no exception.
